Hi, I’m Ashley Garnett — a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC #17190), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS #27694), and National Certified Counselor (NCC #1629356) based in North Carolina, and also licensed in South Carolina (LPC #10176).

I specialize in working with adults, teens, and couples who are navigating the complexities of addiction, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, and the unique challenges of military life. With experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I create a supportive space where clients feel seen, empowered, and motivated to move forward.

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, helping clients explore what’s within their control, clarify personal goals, and take meaningful steps toward healing. Whether you’re rebuilding after a setback, learning to manage emotional triggers, or seeking support during a life change, therapy can offer both structure and freedom.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I’m here to meet you where you are — with compassion, curiosity, and a clear path forward.

Let’s begin the work, together.

Introducing Myst, our red Australian Shepherd and the newest heart of Raven Therapeutic Services!

Born in late August and welcomed home this fall, Myst is full of curiosity, sensitivity, and spunk. She’s already showing signs of her future role — quickly learning commands, bonding with our family, and offering gentle presence when it's needed most.

As Myst grows, she’ll begin formal therapy dog training to support clients during sessions. Therapy dogs can help ease anxiety, bring comfort through difficult emotions, and create a calm, non-judgmental environment — especially when words are hard to find.

At Raven Therapeutic Services, we believe healing happens in many forms. Sometimes, it looks like a warm conversation. Other times, it’s a soft nudge from a four-legged friend who just gets it.

We’re so excited for you to meet her!
“But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
